Young Thug has returned with a new project entitled 'So Much Fun' which is packed with collaborations including J.Cole, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future.
The 19 track setlist brings a psychedelic ecstasy to the ear, with Thug's high falsetto over speedy rap Floetry with lyrics such as "Put my diamonds in a bowl, that look like Fruity Pebbles.”
The "project" from Jeffery Lamar Williams follows up from last year's EP "Hear No Evil" and true to style has the YT stamp all over it, featuring nursery rhyme melodics over heavy beats and his signature pitch change during verses.
The Rap Connoisseur has been laying his vocals on collaborations since 2010 and his slick Floetry has helped songs such as Rich Gang's "Lifestyle" obtain constant radio play and create a new rap culture with Complex ranking the song at number 2 on their list of the 50 best songs of 2014.
Debut song "The London" from this new project hit the Billboard Hot 100 at number 12 and it's looking like it isn't going anywhere too soon, The visuals behind the hit video takes the viewer into the future where he alongside Travis Scott appear to be monitoring a futuristic Brothel/Trap House where drugs and monetary transactions are at the center of this high operation, whilst J.Cole seemingly walks through the halls laying down some hard vocals.
"So Much Fun" is available to download from 16th August 2019
