There's a new luxury experience in town, and its located right next to the F1 paddock at Silverstone. As Formula 1 continues its shift towards elevated lifestyle experiences, Silverstone’s unveiling of The Vale marked a new chapter in race-day hospitality; one rooted not only in speed and spectacle, but in intimacy, precision and importantly: gastronomy. The Vale is a luxury enclave offering driver appearances, an expansive outdoor terrace and Michelin-starred dining, with access kept intentionally exclusive through a strictly limited waiting list. To celebrate its arrival and partnership with Labombe by Trivet, the launch event, experienced ahead of the 2026 British Grand Prix, offered an early glimpse into what is set to become the circuit’s most rarefied offering yet.

Positioned beside the final corners of the track and just moments from the Formula 1 paddock, The Vale is intentionally removed from the performative chaos often associated with sporting hospitality. Our evening to celebrate the unveiling leaned into the importance of understated luxury. This movement isn't loud, ostentatious or exaggerated; it's a subconscious energy penetrated through architecture, interior design and food. Guests moved through Trivet with glasses of 2017 Dom Pérignon in hand, while a procession of delicate hors d’oeuvres emerged from the kitchen; each detail serving as a quiet introduction to the atmosphere Silverstone is now cultivating.
At the centre of the experience was a Michelin-starred experience from Labombe by Trivet, the celebrated concept led by Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal. The menu reflected the restaurant’s signature balance of refinement and playfulness. Wild seabass arrived dressed in orange ponzu and anchovy garum, offering something clean and saline against the richness of the champagne. In contrast, later courses of perfectly prepared grilled lamb, halibut and whisky gelato reinforced the kitchen’s restrained confidence. Around the room, curated wine pairings further hinted at the calibre of service The Vale intends to deliver during race days itself.
More than simply another hospitality enclosure, The Vale has been conceived as an immersive luxury environment for a new generation of Formula 1 guests; those who seek privacy and considered experiences alongside the adrenaline of the sport itself. With intentionally limited capacity, panoramic views across the circuit’s final corners and direct sightlines towards pit entry, the space has been designed to feel exclusive without becoming inaccessible in tone. Guests will move fluidly between elegant dining rooms, trackside terraces and private suites, with every detail focused on comfort and ease rather than spectacle for spectacle’s sake.

It also reflects the wider evolution of Formula 1 culture. As the sport increasingly intersects with fashion, travel and contemporary luxury, audiences are looking beyond the race alone. The Vale answers that shift by offering an environment where hospitality becomes part of the narrative itself; where exceptional food, world-class wines and thoughtful design carry equal importance to the action on track.
What became immediately apparent throughout the evening was Silverstone’s desire to reposition hospitality away from excess and towards curation. Rather than overwhelming guests with theatrics, The Vale focuses on atmosphere; panoramic track views, thoughtful service and dining that could comfortably exist within London’s most discerning restaurant spaces.

The unveiling ultimately offered more than a preview of a new opening in hospitality. It signalled a broader evolution in the Formula 1 landscape, where luxury is increasingly defined by discretion, access and detail. If the launch evening was any indication, The Vale may well become one of the most sought-after experiences on the British Grand Prix calendar.
